Braunstone Golden Gloves ABC Gym is a grassroots community gym and the gym is popular with adults and children alike.
A number of promising young boxers attend the gym and the volunteers do fantastic work with some of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged young people in the area.
Braunstone park area is the 25th most deprived area of 324 local authority areas with a higher than average number of children in Leicester living in poverty.
Attending the gym helps young people and adults in so many ways, with physical and mental health, discipline, respect, pride, community spirit, positive use of leisure time to name a few.
It is with pride we are now sponsoring Dione ''Million Dollar'' Burman who is also part of Team England and regularly competes in training camps and boxing matches.
Dione is a young and ambitious boxer with a great talent for boxing and we wish her all the best in her fights.
